Depicting Thai massage with William Hufschmidt in Decatur, GA - Black line drawing of the soles of two feet, each being massaged by the therapist's hands

Thai massage
Nuad boran

Some people describe Thai massage as “Lazy Person’s Yoga,” where the therapist moves your body through a series of positions using massage techniques that intend to bring aliveness, vitality, and health to muscles, joints, tissues and organs. This practice stimulates our energy called Lom Prana that moves through a system of ten energy lines called Sen Lines. The recipient’s energy flows rebalance and realign for optimum health, and clients leave feeling like their body is more open, juicier, and capable.

Statement of Faith

If we are somehow endowed with participation of some kind of divinity, then we are indeed special, and should treat each other with the respect and dignity this demands.

If, on the the other hand, we are the accidental outcome of blind natural processes in a cosmos that is indifferent to us being here at all, then we are indeed special, and should treat each other with a tenderness and respect befitting such serendipitous surprises.
