Today the students joining me were all threes out five, and there were no requests. We started in seated position with breath awareness, moving through humming and nasal clearing techniques. After some seated hip and spine work, we moved to lunges with twists, then gate to pigeon on each side. After some twisting, bridge, and rejuvenation pose with Godfield feet practices, we moved to standing for Tadasana practices, before settling down in seated meditation and shavasana.

To start and end practice today, I read the following quote from the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr:

“We’ve learned to fly the air like birds, we’ve learned to swim the seas like first, and yet we haven’t learned to walk the earth like bothers and sisters.”
