Today the students joining me were 2s and 3s out of 5, and there were requests to be more embodied and to warm up because of the cold morning. For embodiment today, we explored several asymmetrical balance poses with comparisons movements between sides, as well as change of head position to awaken vestibular awareness.
We started with seated spinal movement and pranayama before moving onto to lunge explorations, followed by standing warrior and side-bending, adding twisting squats, before heading onto our back for figure four twists. Practice ends either in shavasana or seated meditation. Enjoy!
