Today the students joining me were 2s and 3s out of 5 and there was a request for foot presses. Today’s practice included a deeper dive into hip and pelvic floor release using slow and conscious movements with foot presses. We start seated, then feel simple lunge and sunbird before moving into an extended period on our back to deep dive into foot presses. After foot presses we revisit the lunge and sunbird to note any changes to stability and experience. Practice also includes a standing lunge and triangle sequence, before seated forward fold explorations. Today’s practice includes language of inquiry about the movement in each hip socket, as well as experience for pelvic floor and the margins of the tailbone. Practice ends with shavasana with two-chambers breathing, and an option for seated meditation. Enjoy!
