Today the student’s joining me were a full spectrum mix of 1s, 2s, 3s, and 4s, and a range of from beginning to experienced and healthy to injured. We worked at a beginner level, and I gave options throughout for attendees wanting a stronger practice.
We started standing today with hip and balance explorations before heading to our backs, where we spent a majority of today’s practice. On our backs we started with a mid-practice shavasana, then shoulder mobility, before moving through leg and hip movements leading up to bridge, rejuvenation pose, happy baby explorations, and a longer hold in knee-down twist. After being on our backs, we transitioned to seated position for movements exploring spine and shoulder mobility. Practice today ends with your choice of shavasana, or meditation seated either on the floor or in a chair. Enjoy!
