Today, the students joining me were 3s and 4s out of five, so we worked at a stronger level today. There were requests for rest, lower back opening, and lengthening our bodies.

We started with a seated silent meditation, to honor the arrival of winter and the growing length of our days. After seated spinal warmups, we explore hip opening movements and stillness before moving on to our backs for variations of foot presses and chugga-chugga. After a kneeling lune sequence, we explored belly-done hip openers, setting ourselves up for pigeon holds, and ending our movement with tree pose variations and mountain pose. Our practice ended with seated meditation. Enjoy!
