Today, the students joining me live were 1s and 2s, plus one 3 and one 4 out of 5. There were requests for shoulder chest opening, lower back unstiffening, and foot presses. Through out today’s practice we kept coming back, to exploring 4 postures in sequence to see how things were changing: laying down knees to belly, dead bug, bridge, and laying down stick.
We start on our backs today, exploring some dynamic movement before mid practice practice pranayama & shavasana. We move towards standing for mountain pose and shoulder opening, before a standing warrior sequence. When we get back to the floor, we sidelying shoulder and hip opening with deep twists, including and I dream of Jeanie arm twist. Practice today finishes with variations on foot presses, before seated meditation or shavasana.
